The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement today, Tuesday, that "Egypt and the United States have agreed to continue rejecting any displacement of Palestinians outside their territories and the importance of working through all means to prevent this." This came during a phone call received by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry from his American counterpart Antony Blinken. The ministry added that "Shoukry expressed during the call Egypt's hope for U.S. support for a draft resolution being discussed at the Security Council to ensure the intensified delivery of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip."
