Jordan Purchases Approximately 60,000 Tons of Wheat in Tender

Traders confirmed today, Tuesday, that the government grain buyer in Jordan has purchased approximately 60,000 tons of hard wheat flour for supply from optional sources in a global tender. They indicated that the purchase was made from the commodity trading company "Amiruba," with estimates suggesting a price of about $288.50 per ton, including shipping costs for delivery in the first half of October. Traders noted that other companies participated in the tender with shipping-inclusive prices per ton: "Viterra" offered $304, "C.H.S." $293, "Cargill" $297, "Green Flower" $300, "Build Com" $305.77, and "Agro Chernog" $309.
