The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that the warship Stoiky of the Russian Baltic Fleet conducted live-fire exercises against virtual targets in the Baltic Sea. The ministry added that the crew of the small warship carried out a series of scheduled drills, firing at surface and aerial targets in a "difficult jamming environment" while using potential electronic countermeasures from the enemy. The Russian Navy's Baltic Fleet is mainly based in Kaliningrad, a Russian exclave located in the Baltic Sea between Poland and Lithuania, both of which are NATO members.
