A Palestinian official announced that Israeli forces killed a Palestinian youth during a raid in the West Bank. The Israeli army stated that its soldiers opened fire on individuals suspected of being armed who attempted to flee during their arrest. In a statement, the Israeli army reported that its forces, in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp near Jericho, arrested a person suspected of being armed and fired at two others who tried to escape, injuring at least one of them. In an interview with the Palestinian news agency, Jericho Governor Jihad Abu al-Asal confirmed that municipal authorities informed him of the death of young Suleiman Ayash from the camp, who succumbed to live bullet injuries, and that his body was detained by the Israeli army. Additionally, the Palestinian Prisoner Club stated that Israeli security forces arrested 30 individuals in the West Bank during the night and in the early hours of the morning.
