UNIFIL: Any Escalation May Have Devastating Consequences on Both Sides of the Blue Line

The Deputy Director of UNIFIL's Media Office, Candice Ardille, expressed concern following the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri and regarding the general situation along the Blue Line. She stated, "We feel deep concern about any potential escalation that could have devastating consequences for people on both sides of the Blue Line." In an interview with the National News Agency, she added, "We continue to urge all parties to cease fire, and we also call on any influential interlocutors to encourage restraint."
