Al-Najma Club regained the top position in the 64th Lebanese Premier League, which they temporarily lost on Thursday to Al-Ahed Club, by defeating Al-Hikmah Club of Beirut, who are at the bottom, 2 - 1 (first half 2 - 0). The match took place today, Saturday, at the Fouad Chehab Sports Complex in Jounieh during the ninth round. Al-Najma raised its tally to 22 points from seven wins and one draw, with a postponed match against Al-Ahli Nabatiyeh from the eighth round, making them the only team that remains unbeaten. Meanwhile, Al-Hikmah's points remain at five, from one win, one draw, and seven losses.
