Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, this evening to participate in the emergency Arab summit. The summit, set to be held tomorrow, Saturday, will discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Israeli attacks on Gaza, which result in hundreds of casualties daily and create an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
Yesterday, Arab foreign ministers held a preparatory meeting in Riyadh for the emergency Arab summit, during which they discussed a draft resolution concerning the developments resulting from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which is set to be presented to the Arab leaders at their summit.
