Title: Lebanese Justice Minister: I Did Not Request to Withdraw the Proposal for Judicial Independence

The following statement was issued by the media office of Justice Minister Henry Khoury: "The Minister of Justice wishes to clarify that, contrary to what was reported in the media, he has not requested, directly or indirectly, from the Prime Minister to withdraw the proposed law on judicial independence presented before the General Assembly for approval. This clarification was necessary."
