In implementation of the decision by Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Aboud, the Beirut City Guard continues to patrol all the streets of the capital around the clock. The patrols have resulted in the arrest of a large number of illegal motorcycles being ridden by non-Lebanese individuals without the necessary documentation for the motorcycles. Additionally, motorcycles were seized along with quantities of hashish and other narcotics found in the possession of the riders. Several Lebanese individuals were also arrested, some of whom were found with unlicensed firearms. Moreover, one Lebanese individual was apprehended while riding a motorcycle, attempting to attack the patrol while impersonating a military officer. All suspects have been taken in and delivered, along with the confiscated items, to the relevant authorities for legal action.
