Elon Musk Promises to Wear Necklace in Solidarity with Hostages in Gaza

During his visit to Israel, Elon Musk received a symbolic necklace from the father of one of the hostages held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, following criticism over an anti-Semitic post on his platform "X." He promised to wear it until all hostages are released. The necklace, received from the father of hostage Omer Shim Tov, Malachi Shim Tov, features the phrase "Our hearts are hostages in Gaza," which was shown in a video of Musk's visit released by the office of Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday. Musk placed the necklace around his neck. The necklace is a symbol of the attack launched by Hamas on Israel on October 7, during which 240 hostages were taken.
