A match in the Ukrainian football league lasted nearly five hours in the city of Dnipro due to several interruptions caused by alerts of Russian airstrikes. Dnipro-1 won against FC Oleksandriya 1-0 in Dnipro, a city targeted by Russian strikes since Moscow's forces entered Ukraine over 20 months ago. Players were asked to leave the field multiple times due to the threat of Russian airstrikes. The Ukrainian Football Association stated, "The match was stopped several times due to air raid alerts, but it ended nonetheless." Ukraine continues its domestic season despite the war with Russia, but matches are held without fans for security reasons.
