US Imposes Sanctions on Individuals and Entities for Ties to Hamas

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced sanctions against eight individuals and four entities due to their relationships with Hamas and other designated terrorist organizations. In a post on his official X account on Friday, Blinken stated, "We are imposing sanctions on eight individuals with ties to Hamas, including those who have played key roles in facilitating sanctions evasion by Hamas-affiliated companies." He continued, "In addition, we are sanctioning four entities for their ties to Hamas and other designated terrorist organizations." Blinken did not disclose the names of the individuals and entities targeted by these sanctions.
