The White House reported today, Friday, that Iran is "significantly involved" in planning operations against commercial ships in the Red Sea, and that the intelligence it has is essential in assisting the Yemeni Houthi group in targeting ships. White House National Security spokesperson Adrienne Watson stated in a statement, "We have no reason to believe that Iran is trying to deter the Houthis from this reckless behavior."
