The injured Palestinian child garnered significant sympathy after delivering a message saying, "Talk to the Egyptians to let me go," referring to the amputation of his leg while in Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip. The child suffers from the loss of his leg due to an Israeli bombing of his family's home. The Egyptian Ministry of Health released photos of the Palestinian child, Abdullah Kahil, who appeared in a video asking Egyptians for help with his treatment.
