On Monday afternoon, the new Qatari ambassador, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Thani, arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut. He was welcomed by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director of Protocol Consul Salam Ashqar, and ambassadors of the Arab countries accredited in Lebanon: Arab League Ambassador Abdel Rahman Al-Sulh, Saudi Arabia's Walid Bukhari, Palestine's Ashraf Dabbour, Yemen's Abdullah Abdul Karim Al-Dhais, Oman’s Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saidi, Egyptian Deputy Ambassador Counselor Hani Khadr, Algerian Ambassador representative Ourmadan Abdul Malik, as well as Chargés d'Affaires from Arab embassies accredited in Lebanon: Sudan's Sara Idris, Kuwait's Counselor Abdullah Al-Shahin, Jordan’s Munther Awad Abu Obeid, Morocco’s Youssef El Madani, Tunisia’s Minister Plenipotentiary Mustafa Al-Asakri, in addition to a diplomatic staff from the Qatari embassy in Lebanon.
