Today, Tuesday, the Gaza Strip witnessed the first Israeli violation of the temporary ceasefire, despite the agreement to extend the humanitarian truce. Gunfire and explosions were heard west of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian Media Center. Concurrently, Israeli forces fired heavily east of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern part of the territory. Israeli forces also opened fire in the al-Shati refugee camp in the northern part of the territory and in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, in addition to launching smoke bombs. It is noteworthy that some displaced individuals from the south had returned to those areas in the north during the past days of the truce.
