Netanyahu Informs Biden That Fighting in Khan Younis Will Continue for About a Month

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his appreciation today, Saturday, for the United States’ use of the veto in the United Nations Security Council, which obstructed the call for a ceasefire in the war that Israel is waging against the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) in Gaza. Netanyahu said, “Other countries must also understand that it is impossible to support the elimination of Hamas on one hand and call for an end to the war on the other, which will prevent the elimination of Hamas.” He added, “Therefore, Israel will continue our just war to eliminate Hamas and achieve the other war objectives we have set.” He continued, “The fighting in Khan Younis will continue for about a month.”
