Meeting in Europe to Discuss the Situation in Gaza and the Release of Hostages

Two sources told Reuters on Thursday that CIA Director William Burns and his Israeli counterpart will meet with Qatari officials in the coming days to discuss a new agreement for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza. One official told Reuters that Burns and Israeli intelligence chief David Barnea will meet with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Europe at the beginning of the week. The second source stated that Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel will participate in the discussions.
