This morning, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, made a call to his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad, where he once again expressed his condolences for the souls of the martyrs who fell recently in the terrorist attack on the military college in Homs. The two ministers also discussed the recent developments in Gaza and the preparations for an urgent meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers in Cairo. They further talked about the upcoming visit of Minister Bou Habib to Syria to discuss the issue of Syrian refugees and ways to address it.
On another note, today, Monday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdullah Bou Habib, received the Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy in Beirut, Kurt Stillefried, in a courtesy visit. Bou Habib also met with the Egyptian Ambassador Yasser Alawi, in a farewell visit on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in Beirut.
