Arab and Foreign Countries Urge Their Citizens to Leave Lebanon Immediately

The Embassy of Oman in Beirut urged Omani citizens to leave Lebanon immediately due to the events occurring in the region.

The statement read: "In light of the events taking place in the region, including the southern areas of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, the embassy urges all Omani citizens present in Lebanon to return to their homeland immediately. In case of any emergency, please contact the embassy at the following numbers."

In addition, the Belgian government also advised its citizens on Friday to leave Lebanon as soon as possible due to the situation in Israel and Gaza and its potential repercussions in Lebanon.

The Dutch government warned its citizens on Friday against traveling to Lebanon and also urged those still in the country to "leave Lebanon as soon as possible," following the lead of other European countries that issued similar recommendations. The government stated: "As a result of the unpredictable developments between Israel and the Palestinian territories, there are escalating tensions in Lebanon."

Russia advised its citizens not to travel to Israel, the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, or Jordan. The ministry stated: "We continue to work closely with Egyptian and Israeli authorities to ensure the evacuation of Russian citizens who have requested assistance to leave Gaza."
