Tension Returns in the South After Targeting of Lebanese Army Patrol

Tension has once again settled over several border areas after Israeli artillery targeted a Lebanese army patrol on the outskirts of the town of Aitaroun without causing any injuries. The Civil Defense in Alama al-Shaab was also targeted while extinguishing a fire there, but no injuries were reported. Late on Friday night, Israeli warplanes flew over the southern suburbs of Beirut and dropped flares near the town of Blida, around the Rweisat al-Alam site, and in the Nakhar pond in the Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba hills. Reports indicated that the Misgav Am settlement opposite Adaisseh was targeted, prompting Israeli forces to respond with incendiary shells.

Additionally, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon issued a statement claiming that they targeted the Al-Sidah site with guided missiles and appropriate weapons, noting the destruction of large parts of its facilities and equipment, and confirming confirmed injuries among its guarding members. The resistance also attacked the "Misgav Am" site with guided missiles and appropriate weapons, destroying part of its technical equipment.
