The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc confirmed today, Thursday, that it "seeks to establish in Lebanon a unifying state with free decision-making governed by the law, that safeguards the rights and interests of the Lebanese without discrimination or bias, and has the ability to confront enemies through its adherence to the equation of the army, the people, and the resistance."
The bloc added in a statement, "The first step to resolving the current crisis is to complete the presidential requirement and uphold the national protection equation, which has proven its effectiveness in confronting the Zionist enemy."
The statement continued, "Efforts must be made for monetary stability, to provide citizen needs in healthcare, education, and energy, and to enhance public facilities that bolster the country’s financial resources."
The bloc emphasized in its statement that "the work on addressing the issue of Syrian refugees and their voluntary and safe return to their country has begun some time ago and has become serious."
The statement added, "The budgets for 2023 and 2024 reflect the reality of deterioration and suffocation in the country. We cooperate with others and work diligently and sincerely, rejecting all forms of pressure."
The statement concluded: "The bloc is open to all initiatives to complete the presidential requirement, in line with President Berri's call for dialogue."
