Delays in Oil Product Deliveries Due to Red Sea Attacks, Says IEA Official

Kisuki Sadamori, Director of Energy Markets and Security at the International Energy Agency, stated on Wednesday that the delivery of oil products is being delayed after the rerouting of ships away from the Red Sea to avoid attacks by the Houthi group in Yemen. Sadamori mentioned in remarks to Reuters at the Energy Week taking place in Goa, India, "We are witnessing delays in various oil product deliveries, which is particularly affecting product markets in Europe."
