Public Works and Transport Minister Ali Hamie, in the caretaker government, shared photos of the cleaning of rainwater drains in several areas and wrote on the platform "X": "The contractor teams of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport continue to work, restoring and cleaning rainwater drains from Khaldeh toward the south and from Zahrani toward Nabatieh. The main problem is that the drains, after cleaning, return within a week to being filled with waste."
In another post on "X", he noted that "the contractor teams of the Ministry of Public Works have been early this morning on the highway from Jounieh northward to clean the rainwater drains."
He also published photos on “X” showing the cleaning of rainwater drains on the Bekaa highways. He added: "The work of the contractors of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on the Bekaa highways. Not throwing waste leads to ensuring that the drains do not get clogged..."
