Berri Meets with the Delegation of the Municipalities Union of the Southern Suburb

Today, Tuesday, at the second presidential headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri received the President of the Southern Suburb Municipalities Union, Mohammad Dargham, the Mayor of Ghobeiri, Maan al-Khalil, the Mayor of Burj al-Barajneh, Atef Mansour, and the Mayor of Haret Hreik, Ziad Waked. The meeting addressed developmental and demand-related issues concerning municipalities in Lebanon in general, and the Municipalities Union of the Southern Suburb in particular. Also participating in the meeting were Bassam Talias, the central official for municipal and elective affairs in the Amal Movement, and Mohammed Jabir, the official for municipal affairs in the Beirut region within the movement.
