Iran Signs Economic Agreements with Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe and Iran signed 12 memorandums of understanding today, Thursday, to enhance bilateral relations, concluding an African tour by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi that included three countries. The agreements include plans to establish a tractor manufacturing plant in Zimbabwe with a partnership between an Iranian company and a local partner. Additionally, the two countries signed cooperation agreements in the fields of energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, communications, as well as research and science and technology projects.
