Title: Mikati: We Stand in Solidarity with Morocco Following the Earthquake Tragedy and Are Ready to Assist in Relief Efforts

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati expressed Lebanon's sympathy with Morocco, its leadership and people, during this painful ordeal caused by the earthquake that struck several Moroccan areas. In a message sent to King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the Prime Minister stated: "We were pained by the significant tragedy that has befallen our brother Morocco, but we are confident that it will overcome this ordeal with the will of its people and rise again." He added: "We pray for God's mercy on the victims and wish for a swift recovery for the injured." Mikati expressed Lebanon's readiness to assist in the ongoing relief operations and to make its resources available to the brotherly Morocco to overcome this painful crisis.
