Claudio Echeverri impressed with a hat trick, scoring in the 28th, 58th, and 71st minutes of the match. Argentina will face Germany in the semi-finals, after Germany defeated Spain with a single goal scored by forward Barry Brunner in the 64th minute from a penalty kick.
