The Lebanese Golf Federation's team achieved commendable results at the international competition for juniors and ladies, securing two gold medals with players Yasmin Al-Husseini (under 9 years) and Lara Bakhoor (under 13 years). Positive feedback was noted among participants regarding the Lebanese results, as well as praise from Egyptian officials. The championship took place over three days at the modern Cascades Soma Bay courses in Egypt with participation from 10 countries: UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Canada, Ghana, Oman, and Egypt.
The Lebanese team included: Akram Rishani (administrator), Hassan Qassem (coach), and players: Juniors category: Yasmin Al-Husseini (under 9 years) and Lara Bakhoor (under 13 years); Ladies category: Vanessa and Victoria Rishani; Youth category: Hani Mortada, Mohammad Safa, and Ali Safa.
Kareem Salim Salam, president of the Lebanese Golf Federation, revealed that this was Lebanon's first participation in this internationally ranked championship. It is part of a strategy to enhance the skills of players according to the Lebanese Federation's plans, especially for juniors and young players abroad, noting that Al-Husseini and Bakhoor reside in Dubai, while sisters Vanessa and Victoria Rishani are in the United States. He expressed his happiness and pride in these results, congratulating the team members and thanking the parents who supported their children during the tournament.
