Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Deng Li informed his Yemeni counterpart today, Tuesday, that "Beijing supports the legitimate government in Yemen and the political solution to resolve the Yemeni issue." The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted Deng in a statement, saying that "China supports Yemen in safeguarding its sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity." It was also stated that "the two sides exchanged views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the situation in the Red Sea."
