Guterres: The Warring Parties in Gaza "Are Crushing" International Law

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated on Wednesday that the parties involved in the Gaza conflict "are crushing" international law and urged them to immediately cease fire for humanitarian reasons. In his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he asserted that the warring parties "are ignoring international law and trampling on the Geneva Conventions, even violating the United Nations Charter." He added, "What is happening in the Red Sea highlights the importance of a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages."
