The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, the death of a 17-year-old Palestinian, Muhammad Suleiman Awajaneh, who was shot by the Israeli army in the Aqbat Jabr camp near Jericho in the West Bank. The ministry's statement noted that "the death of Muhammad Suleiman Awajaneh raises the number of martyrs in the West Bank since October 7 to 84." Local residents reported that "Israeli forces stormed the camp after midnight and blew up a house belonging to a suspect in the killing of a settler in a shooting incident." They added that the camp witnessed clashes between armed individuals and Israeli forces, and that a number of youths hurled stones at the Israeli forces during their withdrawal. The Palestinian Prisoners Club revealed that Israeli forces arrested "more than a hundred citizens from various areas of the West Bank today, bringing the total number of detainees to over a thousand since October 7." Residents from the village of Aroura, north of Ramallah, reported that Israeli forces occupied the home of Hamas Deputy Leader Saleh al-Arouri, who is currently outside Palestinian territories. They added that Israeli forces arrested dozens from the village, some of whom are members of Hamas.
