Algerian President Sends Letter to Tunisian Counterpart

Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf delivered a written message today, Friday, from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Tunisian President Kais Saied. Attaf stated that Tebboune is "extremely keen on maintaining constant communication and diligent work with his brother Saied," emphasizing his desire "to elevate Algerian-Tunisian relations to the highest possible levels and consistently seek what is beneficial for both countries, the region, and neighboring areas."

Attaf clarified that "Algeria and Tunisia are moving steadily towards enhancing opportunities for cooperation and integration, strengthening social cohesion between the two peoples, and promoting political consensus to influence regional and international developments." He also noted that his visit to Tunisia comes in the context of a very positive dynamic in the relations between the two countries, affirming that the meeting was a valuable opportunity to highlight the significant progress made by both countries over the past four years under the wise guidance of Presidents Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Kais Saied.
