We discussed matters concerning lawyers in general and concerning the Lebanese people." He added: "The main topics we raised were the constitution and the election of the President of the Republic, which the State President affirmed his commitment to, and God willing, we will reach a day soon when we will have a President of the Republic. We also requested and wished for legislative matters and the development of laws in Lebanon for the benefit of the citizens and the Lebanese people, as justice begins in the Parliament."
He pointed out that "during this visit, we emphasized this matter, and we thank him for his time, as well as all legislators and the Parliament for their interaction with the Bar Association in Lebanon to develop these laws. Hopefully, the situation in Lebanon will improve and this gloom will lift from our country."

We condemn this aggression and massacre that the State President termed genocide against the Palestinian people. On behalf of the Bar Association in Tripoli and all lawyers in Tripoli, we denounce the Israeli aggression against southern Lebanon and our people in Gaza and Palestine."
