Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will arrive in Egypt tomorrow, Sunday, for an official visit at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah Sisi, to participate in the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian trilateral summit. This was announced today, Saturday, by the Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo, Diab Louh, who indicated that "a trilateral summit will bring together Presidents Abbas and Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II in El Alamein, reflecting the ongoing consultation and cooperation regarding various issues at the Arab, regional, and international levels, and to unify the visions among the three leaders to address political and regional developments." Louh expressed gratitude to Egypt and President Sisi for hosting this summit and for their valued efforts to support the Palestinian people. He also appreciated the "tireless efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, in defense of Jerusalem and its holy sites." Abbas visited Amman on Tuesday, where he held a meeting with King Abdullah, discussing bilateral relations, common issues, and the latest political developments.
