Death of Deputy Commander of Russian Army Corps in Ukraine

On Monday, the governor of Voronezh, Alexander Joseph, stated that "Major General Vladimir Zavadsky, Deputy Commander of the 14th Army Corps, was killed in Ukraine." Joseph mentioned, "Zavadsky was killed at a combat site in the area of the special operation," without revealing further details. The investigative journalism site (I-Stories) noted that "Zavadsky is the seventh major general that Russia has confirmed dead, and the 12th high-ranking officer whose death has been announced since the beginning of the war."
