The website "Diplomatic Source" reported that Lebanon's representative at the United Nations, Jan Mourad, has been summoned to the central administration in Beirut and replaced by diplomat Hadi Hashem, who accompanied Minister Abdullah Bou Habib to New York. It is noted that Hashem joined the diplomatic service in 2003 and is a graduate of the Institute of Management. He has served as consul in both Qatar and Abu Dhabi, then as the head of Minister Gebran Bassil's office, and later as Chargé d'Affaires in Kuwait for one year until Kuwait reduced its representation. He has also been serving as acting director of expatriates up to the present. Hashem is married to the former Ambassador of Denmark to both Qatar and Lebanon (it is mentioned that she left the diplomatic service in Denmark after completing her mission in Lebanon).
