Arrest of Two Individuals in Ghobeiry and Dhour el Choueir for Committing Various Crimes

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: "On 30/10/2023, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested the citizen (A.M.) in the Ghobeiry area - Southern Suburb, who is wanted under several arrest warrants for committing crimes related to drug use and trafficking, firing firearms, transporting military weapons and ammunition, and trading them. A military pistol was found in his possession. Another patrol arrested the Syrian (M.A.) in the Dhour el Choueir area for illegally entering Lebanon and roaming without legal documents, and for engaging in drug trafficking. A large quantity of drugs was found in his possession. The seized items were handed over, and an investigation into the arrests was initiated under the supervision of the relevant judiciary."
