Explosions in Several Areas of Ukraine

Ukrainian authorities reported explosions in some regions of Ukraine this morning, Saturday, after declaring a state of air alert across the country. The sound of explosions was heard in the city of Dnipro three times this morning, and the local military administration confirmed the occurrence of explosions. Explosions were also heard in the city of Chernihiv (in the north), while authorities reported the activation of air defense systems and later confirmed "damage" without providing details. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced last night that explosions were heard in the suburbs of the city.
