Iranian President: Tehran Supports the Legitimate Defense of the Palestinian Nation

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated in a statement today, Sunday, that Tehran supports the legitimate defense of the Palestinian nation, adding that "the Zionist regime and its supporters are responsible for the instability in the region." Raisi said, "Muslim governments should join the Muslim community to support the Palestinian nation." Meanwhile, Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, predicted that "this victorious process will accelerate the downfall of the Zionist regime." The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, General Mohammad Baqeri, praised the "complex operation" carried out by "Palestinian fighting groups" against Israel.
