Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majid bin Mohammed Al-Ansari announced today the success of Qatari mediation, in cooperation with France, in reaching an agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas." The agreement includes "the entry of medicines and a shipment of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip, in exchange for delivering the medicines needed by the Israeli captives in Gaza." He noted that "the medicines and aid will be sent on Wednesday from Doha to the city of Al-Arish in Egypt, in preparation for their transfer to the Gaza Strip."
