The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday requesting Bahraini citizens to leave Lebanese territory, following a similar request from Saudi Arabia. The ministry's earlier statement indicated that the request was due to the "armed conflict," but a subsequent updated statement clarified that the aim of this step is to "protect them from exposure to any risks." The statement said, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain calls upon all esteemed Bahraini citizens to adhere to the previously issued statements regarding the prohibition of travel to Lebanon in order to protect them from exposure to any risks."
