The General Security Office of Media Affairs issued the following statement: "As part of the voluntary return program for Syrian displaced persons wishing to return to their country, the General Directorate of General Security announces the start of preparations for launching a voluntary return caravan on a date to be determined later. Applications from Syrian nationals wishing to return voluntarily to their country will be accepted at regional General Security offices spread across all Lebanese territory starting from Thursday, February 1, 2024."
