Retired British Air Force Marshal Sean Bell noted that "ATACMS" missiles, which the United States is considering supplying to Ukraine, may appear in the black market. In an interview with "Sky News," Bell stated, "Every time weapons are delivered to Ukraine, there is a possibility that some of them will end up in the black market." He mentioned that "ATACMS" are ballistic missiles capable of striking deep into Russian territory, pointing out that using these missiles for such purposes could escalate the conflict, which the United States does not want. He added, "The United States wishes to obtain assurances from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the missiles will not be used in this way to hit deep into Russia." Media reports last week indicated that "U.S. President Joe Biden informed his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky of Washington's readiness to transfer a 'small quantity' of 'ATACMS' missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers to Ukraine."
