Israel: Iran Could Acquire Nuclear Weapons Within 5 Years

Israeli Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Tuesday that Iran could possess nuclear weapons within five years, adding that this development would not be influenced by the ongoing talks between Iran and major world powers regarding a new agreement to limit its nuclear capabilities. Lieberman is a member of the security cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. He was speaking at a conference on funding Israeli military planning related to Iran.
