The Moroccan Professional League Association has announced a list of clubs banned from participating in the summer transfer market due to outstanding financial claims from players. In a statement, it confirmed that "9 clubs have been recorded as banned from summer signings," specifying that "these clubs are: Hassania Agadir, Ittihad Tangier, Morocco Fes, Mouloudia Oujda, Olympic Safi, Raja, Moghreb Tétouan, Chabab Mohammedia, and Youssefiyah Berrechid."
The association emphasized that it "will not be held responsible for any contracts made by new players with these clubs banned from transfers by the relevant authorities," stating that "no licenses will be issued outside the summer transfer window." It added, "These clubs are required to expedite the settlement of the claims of players who have requested their dues from the Moroccan Football Federation and FIFA." The league association has become strict in making decisions against clubs that do not adhere to the announced financial management principles, especially as recent seasons have seen a significant surge in complaints against Moroccan clubs at FIFA and the national football federation.
