A sudden malfunction in the water pumping network in the Dhbaiya area caused a vertical explosion of water, leading to flooding on the Dhbaiya highway. Maintenance teams from the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Authority quickly shut off the water supply to the station in order to repair the issue. They are currently working on the repairs to restore normal water pumping.
The "Traffic Control" room of the Internal Security Forces urged citizens to "exercise caution and reduce speed on the Dhbaiya highway in both directions due to water leakage resulting from damage to the pumping network in the area."
