On Tuesday, CNN announced the cancellation of more than 425 flights and the delay of over 2,525 others from California airports due to storms that struck the state the previous night. It added that the highest number of canceled flights (more than 255) occurred at San Francisco International Airport, while most delays (over 1,100) were reported at Los Angeles International Airport. Meanwhile, The New York Times reported that U.S. President Joe Biden promised during a phone call with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to provide all possible assistance to address the aftermath of the storm.
