Ivorian Frank Kessié, the newly signed player for Al-Ahli Jeddah, sent a brief message to the fans of his new club following the official announcement of his transfer. Kessié appeared in a video on Al-Ahli's official account on "X", notably dressed in Saudi attire and wearing the club's green scarf, saying: "Hello... I am Frank Kessié... Al-Ahli fans... I am here."
Al-Ahli Jeddah announced the official signing of Kessié for three seasons. The contract was signed in the French capital, Paris, where the player underwent a medical examination before signing officially for €12.5 million, without disclosing the duration of the contract.
The Ivorian star became the fifth signing for Al-Ahli during the current summer transfer window, following the acquisitions of Senegalese Edouard Mendy, Brazilian Roberto Firmino, Algerian Riyad Mahrez, and French Allan Saint-Maximin.
