Major indexes on Wall Street opened higher on Friday as chip companies and major firms continued to rise, while investors closely monitor corporate earnings reports and any signals regarding the timing of interest rate cuts. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 103.89 points, or 0.28%, to 37,572.50 points. The S&P 500 index increased by 15.34 points, or 0.32%, to 4,796.28 points. The Nasdaq composite advanced by 66.73 points, or 0.44%, to 15,122.38 points.
